We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef – Burgers to support kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation and service standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in burger concepts, kitchen supervision, team management, and maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise and guide kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
• Ensure all burgers, sandwiches, and related menu items are prepared according to brand recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control, and consistency.
• Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.
• Support inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes.
• Train and develop kitchen team members on cooking techniques and operational procedures.
• Handle kitchen scheduling and manpower coordination in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Ensure proper equipment handling and kitchen maintenance.
• Support cost control initiatives by minimizing wastage and maintaining efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as Sous Chef or Senior CDP in burger or fast-food concepts.
• Strong knowledge of burger preparation, grilling, frying, and kitchen operations.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in casual dining or QSR burger brands.
• Strong operational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management and food costing.
• Ability to train and motivate kitchen staff effectively.
