We are currently looking for an experienced and highly organized Kitchen Manager to oversee and manage daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, and a passion for maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise overall kitchen operations.
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure efficient performance.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency according to company standards.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, wastage, and portion control.
- Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for stock management.
- Ensure smooth kitchen workflow during peak operational hours.
- Handle staff scheduling, attendance, and performance management.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections and ensure equipment maintenance.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new kitchen employees.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or cloud kitchen operations preferred.
- HACCP or Food Safety Certification is an advantage.
