We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef – Japanese Cuisine to lead our kitchen operations and deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations related to Japanese cuisine.
- Develop innovative and authentic Japanese menus while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Supervise food preparation, presentation, and kitchen performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen team members.
- Monitor food cost, wastage, inventory, and kitchen efficiency.
- Maintain high standards in sushi, sashimi, hot kitchen, and overall Japanese culinary techniques.
- Coordinate with management to enhance guest satisfaction and dining experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef specializing in Japanese cuisine.
- Strong expertise in sushi, sashimi, robata, and hot kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and presentation.
- UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
