We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis – Burgers to join our kitchen team. The candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of burgers, sandwiches, and related menu items while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare burger ingredients, sauces, patties, buns, and side items as per brand standards.
• Assist in cooking and assembling burgers according to recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure food preparation and storage areas are clean and hygienic at all times.
• Follow FIFO, food safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Support senior chefs during busy operations and peak hours.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Maintain consistency in food quality and portion control.
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen deliveries properly.
• Follow all company policies and kitchen operational standards.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in burger or fast-food kitchen operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible with shifts and operational requirements.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of grilling, frying, and burger assembly.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to multitask efficiently during rush hours.
