We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef specializing in Chinese Cuisine to join our culinary team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of authentic Chinese cooking techniques, food presentation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Chinese cuisine dishes according to company standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of all dishes
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards within the kitchen
- Monitor food stock, ingredients, and kitchen inventory levels
- Minimize food wastage and support cost control measures
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of orders during peak operational hours
- Follow standard recipes and support menu development when required
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain compliance with HACCP and municipality food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef specializing in Chinese Cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking methods, sauces, and ingredients
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays if required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary diploma or professional cooking certification
- HACCP or Food Safety Certification preferred
- Experience in restaurant, hotel, or cloud kitchen operations is an advantage
